    About Us

    Our Mission

Our mission is to help older adults maintain independence, individuality and quality of life with pride and self respect.

    Our Philosophy

To provide the support and services necessary to meet individual needs while respecting choices and values.

    Our Goals

To help older adults and their families reduce the stress associated with increased needs due to aging. To help families find the resources they need. To provide support and guidance in times of need.

Pear Eldercare was founded by Debra Aria Dargan, a Certified Public Accountant, with twenty five years of accounting experience. Over the years, many of her clients have been elders seeking assistance with daily financial affairs as they faced new challenges physically and mentally as a result of getting older. She noticed a growing need for help in other areas of their lives too; as they have struggled to remain in the homes they love. Debra returned to school and earned her Master of Social Work degree to enhance her ability to assess the needs of elders and assist with their everyday needs. With sound financial planning as well as adequate day to day care and assistance, many elders are able to remain in familiar surroundings as well as maintain the quality of life to which they have become accustomed.

Debra recognizes the stress elders experience as their capabilities change due to the natural aging process or onset of illness, as well as the stress of family members juggling careers, distance and their own families. This gives her the opportunity to serve others and alleviate or at least help to minimize their stress.

Debra continues her pursuit of excellence in the field of gerontology through continuing education and participation in industry workshops and seminars.

Pear Eldercare provides outstanding professional, personalized and compassionate service for the needed care and attention of elders and linkage to any helpful resources. These non-medical services are provided in the elder’s home or wherever the elder is located. We gladly come to you.

Services are provided on a long or short-term basis, tailored to your needs. We treat you and your family members with care and understanding.
